OnePlus is set to announce its OnePlus 5 flagship on June 20th, and today Android Police released a supposed image of the device that it says should be accurate. From the picture, we can see the device might launch with a dual-camera system and, well, that’s kind of it. Oh, it’ll also maybe be available in black to start, which would be different for OnePlus. The 3T wasn’t initially available in black.
OnePlus 5 India Launch will be on June 22nd, 2017 14:00 at Mumbai.
OnePlus 5 is said to feature a horizontally stacked dual rear camera setup. OnePlus 5 is expected to come with the same 5.5-inch full HD resolution display that we saw in company’s previous phone. The flagship device could come with either 6GB RAM or 8GB RAM version, though we will have to wait for an official announcement to know more.
OnePlus 5 will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage options. Leaks around the smartphone have suggested a bigger 3600 mAh battery along with support for company’s Dash Charge 2.0 technology.
OnePlus is a Shenzhen-based start-up and producer of smartphones founded in December, 2013. The company’s claim to fame is its bid to offer flagship-level specs in its smartphones, at affordable prices. OnePlus initially sold its smartphones only through an invite system where customers would be sent an invite to purchase smartphones and they had to make the purchase within a fixed time frame. Of late the company has held open sales of its smartphones too.
