India Vs Pakistan Match at Dharamsala Shifted to Kolkata: Due to Security Concerns

The ICC Twenty20 World Cup Cricket Match of India Vs Pakistan which is scheduled on March 19 to play at Dharamsala earlier but, due to security concerns, the play of match changed to “Eden Gardens” Kolkata, India. It was great loss for Dharamsala and a benefit for Kolkata audience to watch the match. After, the official meet of BCCI it informed that Kolkata has the preferrable place when compared with other venues like Bengaluru, Mohali.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday, Midnight told that the match should be played as per the schedule but, India BCCI clearly said that the match will be played at Kolkata due to security concern. Before it combat with India, Pakistan need to play 2 warm-up matche with two other teams at Kolkata after playing the match it would play aganist India.

The BCCI said that, for security point of View kolkata will be the best place and broadcasting of match easier, instead of spending expensive cost in playing the match at other regions. The West Bengal Government which is led by Mamata Banerjee shown much interest for the proposal of Match shifing from Dharamsala.

According to ICC Rule and Regulations, The Pakistan team should shift their camp to kolkata to play two warm-up matches aganist SriLanka on March 14, March 16 2016 with Group A qualifier. The Match After playing March 16 they need to shift their camp from Kolkata to Dharamasala. so, its better to play the Dharamsala Match on 17 March, can be played at Kolkata.

After playing the warm-up Match, their will be a match aganist India on March 19, they need to play their next match with New zealand on March 22. The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister told we will provide a safest security but, the Pakistan Cricket Board Governer Shaharyar Khan was opposing the statement of Indian BCCI.
